New Year's Revolution -- Haiku

Achieving your goals
has the magic of a well
practiced hockey team.
Attention!! At ease.
Fluid honor, grace, and poise
in dance I salute.
Cheers roar in the night
half-mile away through the trees
fireworks splay; they've won.
Editors advice:
good writing means rewriting
for their sake not yours.
My voice is learning
so listen, this lesson sings,
we've two ears, one mouth.
Live each moment as
if this was your one last chance
to have no regrets.
Not just "ring, ding, ahl..."
it's the spirit within Thee
Carol of the Bells.
Bright cool night,
silvery full moon, clear sky,
we smile up...
Christmas lights reflect
across red, white, blue green-scapes;
I'm happy and warm.
Your poem dances still,
touching heart to heart to tears;
I had to respond.
