Spring Wranglings, Haiku

Thriving through winter
to spring, a heartbeat strengthens
for love unfolding.
Herb garden sprouting
in peat pots on windowsills,
daffodils in snow.
Spontaneous hands
to heart, one conveys essence
in true namaste.
Chiaroscuro words
strain to sing in the colors
of spring and summer.
Greet this time now where
we're one, in love, you and I,
forever divine.
Rows of chirping birds
suddenly flutter away.
Nearby, a jay shrills.
